1. Write a brief summary of the news article. What crime was committed? What was the sentence? Click here to download the article. You do not need to print this in order to read it!
2. Do you think it is fair to execute a mentally challenged person? Why or why not? What alternatives might there be?
3. Fact: Bobby was with his cousin when this happened. His cousin committed suicide one week later. Bobby said his cousin is the one that killed girl. Does this fact alter your opinion of the situation. Why or why not?
4. There is also a video. Before watching, please plug in your headphones so that you don't disturb the other students. Click here to watch the video. After watching the video, do you think Bobby understood what he did? Why or why not? Please explain.
